History of Keno Lottery

The Chinese lottery was originally called the Keno lottery. The original source of the game is a poem called “The Thousand Character Classic”. This poem contains about a thousand rhymes that are never repeated. This game was created to help children learn more about the thousands of characters they could learn and read in their daily lives.

In ancient China, Keno was a popular nursery rhyme. The game of Keno was created by Cheung Leung, a legendary Chinese general. To create a gambling game, this general used the first 120 characters from “The Thousand Character Classic”. If the correct numbers are correctly guessed, they are marked with their ancient method of writing ink and brush. Cheung Leung used the profits from the game to fund the equipment and arms he needed for his military defense. The money was used to purchase armaments and weapons. to protect his kingdom against any invasions.

The 120 symbols used in ancient keno were further sub-categories. The combinations would be drawn by the Emperor at least twice a day. The live draw sgp  game’s mechanics are as follows: If the players lose in one category, they will lose their three remaining bets. They would win 10 more bets if they win one subcategory.

Over the years, keno became known as the “White Pigeon Game.” Because in ancient times, there was no faster way of communicating with the Emperor. Therefore, it was named the “White Pigeon Game.”

Cheung Leung’s army was also influenced by the popularity of the game. He was able to make as much money from the game he invented (just 10 lottery draws), and his army was returned to the government.

Another term was also used by Chinese scholars to describe the ancient lottery game. This game was called “idiot taxes” because the money from the keno games was used to finance Cheung Leung’s army. Chinese scholars believed that the participants in this game had been robbed of their funds. Instead of asking for taxes to fund the government’s army, they were tricked into gambling. A large portion of the profits from these games was also used to fund the construction of the Great Wall of China.

The Chinese call Keno “Thousand Character Classic” even today in China. It is a tradition for them to play Keno twice daily, just like they have done in the past. Instead of 1,000 characters, 80 characters are selected to go into the cards. Each subcategory can be divided by 10 characters.
